the St. Louis area. Read below to confirm the location of the
show you're seeing, and directions to the theatre!
The Grandel Theatre THE ODYSSEY and KING LEAR will
be presented at the Grandel Theater
Located in the heart of the Grand Center Arts and
Entertainment District, the Grandel Theater is the home of year-round
live performances of St. Louis Shakespeare, The Repertory Theatre
of St. Louis & The St. Louis Black Repertory Theatre.

Built as a church in 1884, the building was renovated
and converted into a theater in 1992. It seats 467 people and has
a modified thrust stage.

The Grandel Theater is located on the corner of North Grand Ave. and Grandel
Square in Midtown St. Louis.
From Downtown/Illinois: Take Highway 40/64 West to Forest Park Parkway (exit
38A) toward Grand Boulevard. Go North on Grand Boulevard approximately 1/2
mile to Grandel Square.The theatre is on the left, 1 block north of The Fox
Theater and across from Powell Symphony Hall.
From the West or North St. Louis County: Take Highway 40/64 East to Grand
Boulevard (exit 37B). Go North on Grand Boulevard approximately 3/4 miles
to Grandel Square. The theatre is on the left.
The theater is located one block north of the FOX THEATER and across from
POWELL SYMPHONY HALL. Parking is available on the street and there is also
a lit
parking
lot at the old Sun Theater building across the street.
There is handicapped access to the building in the private theater lot adjacent
to
the
building.
Directions from I-64 (Highway 40):
Eastbound, take Exit 37B to Grand Avenue. Westbound,
take Exit 38A to Forest Park Avenue to Grand Avenue. Drive north
on Grand about six blocks to Washington Avenue. Turn right onto
Washington and then left into our parking lots.
Directions from I-70: Take
Exit 247 to Grand Avenue. Go south on Grand about 2.5 miles to
Washington Avenue. Turn left on Washington and then left into
our parking lots.
Directions from I-44: Take
Exit 288 to Grand Avenue. Go north on Grand about 1.5 miles to
Washington Avenue. Turn right onto Washington and then left into
our parking lots.

be presented at the Orthwein Theater at MICDS.
Directions from the North: Take Interstate 270 South to Olive
Rd. and head East. Turn right on Warson Rd. The campus is about
1 mile
south of Olive on the right
side of Warson.
Directions from the South: Take Interstate 270 to Ladue Rd. and head East.
Turn left at Warson Rd. and the campus is on your left.
Directions from the East or West: Take Highway 40 to Lindbergh Rd. and head
