Directions

St. Louis Shakespeare is performing at three locations this season.

All performances of The Odyssey and King Lear will take place at the Grandel Theatre.

Romeo & Juliet
will be performed at Johnson Hall at The Third Baptist Church, located just across the street from the Fabulous Fox Theatre at Washington and Grand.

Edward III
is being performed at the Orthwein Theater at the Mary Institute Country Day Schools. Maps and directions can be found here.

Parking

Grand Center operates several public lots surrounding the theatre (the large lot directly across Grandel Square next to the Sun Theatre building from the theatre provides easiest access). A nominal fee is sometimes charged. There is metered parking on the streets that becomes free in the evenings.

Wheelchair-accessible parking is available in the lot immediately behind the Grandel Theatre. Enter the lot from Grand Boulevard via Samuel Shepard Drive.

Due to other events going on in the district, early arrival is recommended to ensure best parking availability.

Dining & Drinks

Refreshments are available in the lobby of the Grandel Theatre before each performance and during intermissions. Full beverage service is offered at the lobby bar beginning one hour before each scheduled performance.

The Grandel Theatre is very close to many fine dining options - why not make a night of it? The St. Louis Post-Dispatch has a comprehensive local dining guide that you can browse. Here are a few ideas:
