Auditions for
The Taming of the Shrew

St. Louis Shakespeare announces auditions for THE TAMING OF THE SHREW.

When: Saturday, November 16, 1:00pm – 5:00pm

Where: Regional Arts Commission, 6128 Delmar in University City (across from The Pageant). Metered street parking is available; free parking is available in the Metrolink lot located behind The Pageant.

If you have previously worked with St. Louis Shakespeare, you are invited to simply attend callbacks. Please email for details.

All roles are open. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Please bring a headshot and resume. Actors of all ages and types are encouraged to attend. We are looking for many character actors and are striving for gender equity in casting.

All positions are paid a stipend.

The production is directed by Donna Northcott. Rehearsals begin approximately February 10 and run Mon – Thurs evening and Saturday morning. Production runs March 27 – April 4, Friday and Saturday at 8:00pm, Thursday and Sunday at 7:30pm. PLEASE NOTE: There are 10:00am student matinees on Thursday and Friday, April 2 & 3.
